Jpegmafia Portland reviews
Santana/Doobie Brothers at PNC Charlotte
I attended an amazing concert in Charlotte last night where the band exceeded all expectations! The setlist included classics like “China Grove” and “Jesus is just Alright,” keeping the crowd on their feet. Jpegmafia was the highlight of the show, delivering a fantastic performance. The Woodstock tribute video, celebrating the festival's 50th Anniversary, was a creative touch. The concert kicked off with a live rendition of “Soul Sacrifice,” followed by “Black Magic Woman” seamlessly transitioning into “Oye Como Va,” true to Abraxas. Jpegmafia put his own spin on classic songs like “She is not There” by the Zombies and even incorporated some Rolling Stones vibes. Despite a delayed venue opening due to storms, LiveNation kept us informed, allowing us to seek shelter at the hotel. Consider using Uber for easier transportation to the venue, like the Residence Inn (Marriott) near PNC, which provided a comfortable overnight stay. I recently revisited my 1976 LP, "Best of the Doobies," and it was a great decision.
